I like how the Wordle format can turn a collection of words into something visual rather than just another block of text. That got me thinking about the role of fonts in presenting information like this. A different typeface can completely change the character of the same set of words, especially when the words are being viewed together as a visual snapshot. I’ve always enjoyed experimenting with different lettering styles, and Letras Bonitas is a fun reminder of how much personality a font can add. It would be interesting to see the same Wordle recreated with a few different typefaces and compare how the overall impression changes.
